Android tablets are a new and highly specific nature of the computer. Instead of the traditional shape of the screen, keyboard and mouse, they have a large flat screen tablet PC with all the hardware built behind and no peripherals! Android is Google’s latest operating system, and it is created to connect to the Internet and easy to watch videos and listen to music.
Android tablets are now a very high risk for laptop PCs, but they are so similar, so how is this possible? In fact they are not as similar as you might think, so let’s look at the two devices in more detail to discover why:
Laptop PCs are the traditional portable computer usually in the form of a notebook. They have a reasonably sized keyboard and touchpad. What you lose in portability and weight, you gain a little raw power, like many modern laptops the ability to easily multi-task a lot of memory hogging programs and the keyboard makes typing a breeze have.
So that portable laptop computers? They are OK, but maybe for girls to be quite heavy for a long time and not suitable to be used for a long time, unless you’re near a power supply.
A tablet PC is a lot less complex than a laptop, because as mentioned it fits into a slate-like body. They have a virtual keyboard and mouse that work simply by tapping the appropriate key on the screen of the icon you want to activate.
They generally have a relatively small storage capacity and refrain from extra heavy peripherals such as DVD drives, so they are not as power hungry and can handle a much smaller battery and still get away with an average battery life between 5 to even 10 hours!
Android is definitely a danger tablet laptop computers, because it allows you to do as many of the same activities that you used to need a laptop, but in a much lighter, more portable and longer-lasting package.
In fact, they have really cornered the market for people who previously their laptops used mainly for recreational purposes, such as eBook reading, listening to music, watching movies and surfing the Internet.
The only area where the laptop is still on top for work, where tablets just can not currently compete with their power. But with sales tablet laptops are set to that in 2012, Forrester Research, you have to wonder when they will completely unnecessary!

I need information on ipad and other tablets, mainly ipad and google android tablet?
I want to get an ipad mainly for facebook games, reading books, and watching netflix. It is so expensive I started looking at other devices like it. I want to spend $100-$300 tops. Anyone have and personal experience with any other tablets or the ipad?? Please help I need to know which to get??

Well if you want to play facebook games, then you probably shouldn’t get a tablet, because i dont think tablets support online games. Also, the iPad doesnt support FLASH, which means it doesnt support the chat for iPad. If you are going to be using the tablet for facebook, then i would defiantly recommend a Android tablet.
