How do I remove songs from ipod touch from a different computer?

hey i was wondering how i would go about deleting songs off my ipod with my computer. when i bought my ipod, i went to my friends house and downloaded a bunch of his music, but what i downloaded there nearly filled my ipod. he has now moved away so i cant go to his house and take songs off my ipod. however, i never did register my ipod. could that be a loophole of some sorts?

How come when i plug my ipod touch usb adapter into my ipod, then into the xbox 360, nothing happens? I want to listen to my songs on my ipod touch, but nothing shows up o the screen, please help? My ipod usb adapter works because i charge my ipod everyday on the computer.

1st off make sure the xbox is on

2nd apple didn’t make the itouch music compatible with the xbox, the only thing that you could do is just charge your itouch (only when xbox is on)

My guess is that the default setting is that data get´s synchronized automatically. You have to set it to manual first. You can then put anything on your IPod you want and then put the autosync back on.

It could also be that you need to reformate it because it´s formated for the wrong computer platform (Mac when you have Windows or vice versa)

How do you transfer iPod songs to your library that thinks it already exists on iTunes?

My iTunes library is all wrong. It won’t display my iPod songs on my laptop. So, in order to listen to my iPod songs, I have to plug my iPod in, and listen to my iPod’s library. But once I disconnect the USB cord, the library goes back to the stupid original songs that I don’t want. It’s very confusing, and it’s frustrating me. I try to drag the iPod songs into the existing iTunes library [You know, like when you're creating a playlist] and it won’t let me. On my mom’s computer though, iTunes cooperates and uploads and updates songs normally. But she had to wipe her hard drive clean because of a virus, so the songs don’t exist anymore.

I have the Ipod 30 gb 5th generation…and the hard drive is damaged….lol like completley smashed…(Skateboarding accident) the screen click wheel and chips inside are all perfect..i just get the sad face of death which means bad hard drive…so my question is if i buy a 60 gb hdd will it fit in the case of the 30gb ipod?

In theory you could, but I would not attempt it. You may waste your money on the hdd and it not fit.

How can i get my ipod touch out of recovery mode, it will not restore either?

I tried to restore my ipod the other day, but there was an error, and it is now stuck in recovery mode.
I have an ipod touch 4g and i am running the latest version of itunes, and i have tried to restore it on two different computers.
Whenever i try to restore it, it comes up with the error ” The ipod could not be restored. An unknown error occured (20008)”
Please help. Also, resetting the ipod with the home/lock keys doesnt resolve it.
